CVR Partners is a growth-oriented limited partnership formed by CVR Energy, Inc. in June 2007 to own, operate and grow our nitrogen fertilizer business. CVR Energy owns the general partner of CVR Partners and a majority of the common units representing limited partner interests of CVR Partners.

Headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas, CVR Energy is an independent petroleum refiner that operates a 115,000 barrel per day complex full coking medium-sour crude oil refinery in Coffeyville, Kan. The refinery is located adjacent to our nitrogen fertilizer plant. CVR Energy also operates a 70,000 barrel per day refinery in Wynnewood, Okla. In addition, the company's petroleum business includes a 35,000 bpd crude oil gathering system that serves Kansas, Oklahoma, western Missouri and southwestern Nebraska; a refined fuels and asphalt storage terminal business in Phillipsburg, Kan.; and a 145,000 bpd pipeline system that transports crude oil to the refinery with 1.2 million barrels of associated company owned storage tanks and an additional 2.7 million barrels of leased storage capacity located at Cushing, Okla.
